Sr. BIM Coordinator (Architecture)

Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator Architecture will be responsible for coordinating architectural BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards, and supporting multidisciplinary BIM integration for large-scale Middle East projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and hands-on experience in delivering high-quality BIM outputs across project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural BIM models in line with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and client requirements.
• Manage and review architectural models to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design intent.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure seamless model integration.
• Conduct clash detection, model audits, and quality checks using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Support BIM implementation across project phasesconcept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to Middle East authority standards, codes, and project deliverables.
• Prepare and manage BIM deliverables including models, drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Support project teams in BIM workflows, standards, and best practices.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders for BIM-related coordination.
• Assist in mentoring junior BIM staff and supporting skill development within the team for team development in BIM processes and tools.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in

  Revit Architecture

  (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of

  Navisworks

  ,

  AutoCAD

  , and BIM collaboration platforms.
• Sound understanding of

  LOD requirements

  , BIM standards, and coordination processes.
• Experience working on

  large-scale Middle East projects

  (residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use).
• Advanced skills in clash detection and conflict resolution for construction phases
• Excellent written and oral English communication with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight project timelines.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with international consultants and Middle East clients.
• Exposure to

  BIM 360 / ACC

  or similar Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
• Knowledge of regional authority requirements (KSA, UAE, Qatar, etc.) is an advantage.
• Team leadership and mentoring experience managing BIM modelers and technical staff.
