Sr. AV Programmer

Role Overview: Power Bridge is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AV Programmer to join their team. As an AV Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control system programs for audiovisual systems, integrating various AV components, testing and debugging programmed systems, maintaining documentation, collaborating with team members and clients, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement control system programs for audiovisual systems, including Crestron, AMX, and Extron. - Customize and modify existing code to meet project requirements. - Integrate AV components such as displays, audio devices, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces. - Collaborate with design engineers to ensure seamless integration of AV systems. - Conduct thorough testing of programmed systems and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of programming code, system configurations, and technical specifications. - Collaborate with project engineers, technicians, and team members to achieve project goals. - Work with clients to understand specific programming requirements. - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in AV programming. - Attend training sessions and certifications to enhance skills. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in AV system programming. - Proven experience in AV system programming, with a focus on Crestron and/or AMX. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Crestron Simpl, Crestron VT-Pro, AMX NetLinx Studio, and others. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
