Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting the markets through timely and accurate setup of products and related attributes for sale at the stores by partnering with Buyers, Suppliers, Hubs, and Supply Chain. Additionally, you will lead the respective cluster/category in meeting the critical path. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business needs and have an in-depth understanding of Tesco processes. - Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and techniques to build on Tesco processes and knowledge. - Complete tasks and transactions within agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Analyze solution alternatives to solve problems. - Investigate and resolve critical issues around systems & processes like Promotion Loading, Invoice fallouts, PO generation, data flow issues across systems for any delays in product/promotion launch. - Identify and escalate risks related to delays, recommend and implement solutions for successful range and promotion launches. - Lead each cluster supporting the category, make decisions/actions based on variations in a category, set up products and promotions, and prioritize associates based on the launches. - Maintain accurate range plans to enable buyers for effective range building and reporting. - Support ad hoc and product-related changes based on legislation additions/amendments. - Provide insights to buyers through Promotional and Cost reporting. - Build strong working relationships with Buyers, Suppliers, Hubs, and wider Commercial teams to support and deliver on subcategory plans for their respective launches. - Influence counterparts in the market to adhere to the critical path by highlighting the impact of delays on the final product launch.
