Medline India is looking for a Systems Analyst responsible for identifying root cause of system issues in the TMS/WMS domain.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Defect Analysis and fix
- Work closely with the IS/ Ops community to identify and prioritize persistent system issues
- Recreate and identify the root cause
- Follow all the defined process of documentation and progress tracking specified
- Specific work arounds for the support teams
- Contribute to resolution of the most complex issues and help in its mapping to identified defects
- Liaison with the IS Build, Ops, Run and Vendor teams to track defect fixes till deployment and potentially also assist in.
- Work closely with business users to determine business requirements and translates them to system requirements.
- Perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options.
- Understand options to evaluate multiple options and recommend the best course of action based on requirements coverage and effort required.
- Serve as a IS point person for addressing issues and enhancements related to the specific product and functional area.
- Provide SME support to the Support teams on any critical production issues
- Responsible for making software configuration changes to support business processes.
- Consider data sensitivity and process control to determine security and user authorization impacts. Works with manager and with corporate auditing to ensure that access to systems and data are authorized only to the proper people.
- Create business process designs (BPD) and business system designs (BSD) that meet the business needs, adhering to departmental documentation standards.
- Deliver program requirements to developers and serve as the developer's point of contact for clarification and follow-up throughout the development process.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure high quality system implementations.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Solid experience as a Systems analyst in a Complex Integrated Multi component systems landscape with 3 5 Years of experience
- Experience in WMS/TMS processes/systems and with mainstream COTS TMS/WMS products (like Catalyst, Manhattan Associates, Red Prairie, Oracle)
- Highly proficient in SDLC lifecycle processes and deliverables including requirements gathering, System & Data analysis, Software Design, Test planning and Execution.
- Good understanding of Object-oriented software programming and database management systems from system analysis perspective
- Solid organization & leadership skills to own and get developed enhancements working with varied technology groups
- High learning ability. Position will require learning new business, functional and systems processes in a short period of time
- Strong and polished English communication, both written and oral, with a proven track record of working with Onsite business and technical team members
- Understanding of PL/SQL, ability to develop medium to complex queries for analysis purpose.
Desired/ Preferable Skills:
- Exposure to ERP systems, Like SAP
- Agile Methodology, working in Squads
- Basic knowledge of Java
