Sr. Android Developer

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, working closely with other app development and technical teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Working with outside data sources and APIs. - Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. - Working on bug fixing and improving application performance. - Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app. - Experience with Android SDK and working with remote data via REST and JSON. - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. - Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
