Job Title: Aluminium Formwork Designer

Job Summary:

The Aluminium Formwork Designer is responsible for creating efficient, accurate, and detailed formwork designs tailored to project specifications. This includes preparing technical drawings, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring that the formwork systems align with engineering standards and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Formwork Design:

• Develop 2D and 3D drawings of aluminium formwork systems using CAD software.
• Design formwork layouts for slabs, walls, columns, beams, and other structural components.
• Ensure designs meet structural integrity, safety, and efficiency standards.

Technical Analysis:

• Analyze project requirements and construction drawings to develop appropriate formwork solutions.
• Perform load calculations and stress analysis to ensure formwork stability during concrete casting.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to align formwork designs with overall project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure formwork elements are produced as per design specifications.

Quality Assurance:

• Verify that formwork designs adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular reviews and modifications of designs based on client feedback and site conditions.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed drawings, material lists, and specifications for procurement and on-site assembly.
• Provide technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

On-Site Support:

• Offer technical guidance during formwork assembly and concrete pouring.
• Address any design-related issues that arise during construction.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
