Role & responsibilities

2. Production Planning & Execution

Analyse pending orders, production capacity, machine loading, and manpower availability to make an accurate daily & weekly production plan.

Share the planning sheet with all supervisors and ensure that each department follows the timeline strictly.Track real-time progress and ensure that production targets are achieved without delays.Coordinate with the sales/dispatch team to confirm deadlines and order priorities.--

3. Supervisory Control & Reporting System Maintain full control over day-shift and night-shift supervisors.Implement a structured reporting system: hourly, shift-wise, and daily reports from all departments.

Review supervisor reports, identify issues in machine performance, quality, manpower, wastage, or downtime, and take corrective actions immediately.

Conduct weekly review meetings with supervisors to improve efficiency.

4. Dispatch Planning & On-Time Delivery Create dispatch dates based on the production plan and communicate them to the dispatch/marketing team.Ensure 100% on-time dispatch with zero deviations from planned dates.Follow up department-wise progress and ensure all materials reach the packing & dispatch division as per schedule.Maintain coordination with logistics, inventory, and finished goods teams to avoid delays

.5. Overall Production Control Maintain full operational control over the complete production plant.Ensure optimum utilisation of machines, tools, raw materials, and manpower.

Monitor critical KPI s such as production output, rejections, wastage, breakdown time, quality issues, and raw material consumption.

Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce costs and increase productivity.Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are strictly followed to reduce machine downtime.Maintain adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards throughout the plant.

Preferred candidate profile

715 years in plastics/PVC extrusion industry (preferably Edgeband, WPC, UPVC, Profiles, or relevant polymer processing)
