Job Description

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Work Experience : 2-4 years of industry experience in building solid software product s. Role Description : As a Senior AI Engineer at Pixxel, you will be instrumental in planning, designing, developing and maintaining cutting edge solutions for AI products leveraging both foundation models and specialized deep learning architectures. Your role will focus on building innovative AI solutions that combine the power of large multimodal models, and AI engineering to extract meaningful insights from satellite imagery. Responsibilities & Duties : Design and develop AI products and features using foundation models (LLMs, vision models) to analyze and interpret satellite imagery data. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices for software development. Prompt Engineering. Planning and delivery of a project with the help of senior folks in the team. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and ensuring code quality. Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to the projects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies. Desirable Skills & Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. 2+ years of experience in python and AI product development. Strong programming skills in Python and related ML frameworks. Can write scalable python code. Proficient with AsycIO and multiprocessing in python. Design patterns in python. Relational database. REST APIs. Experience with Pytorch or Tensor flow. Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes. Prompt engineering. At least 1 years of experience in managing a project/ownership and delivery of a project. (medium complexity). Strong expertise in foundation models applications including Tool calling, RAG(Retrieval-Augmented generation) and Agents architecture. Proven track record of building and deploying AI applications. Experience with large-scale model training and optimization. Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
