JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Software Engineer to improve its data-driven decision-making capabilities and optimize business processes by leveraging the power of data analytics.
• We require a skilled Data Analytics Developer with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data analytics solutions to help achieve these objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders needs.
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
• Creating ETL Packages and deploying them into SQL Server.
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
• Keeping up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends
• This position requires availability during the 2-11 PM (IST) time frame.
• Candidate should have WGS and claim business knowledge.
• Candidate will spend approximately 25 percent of their time in customer facing (virtual) meetings.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field and or experience

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in Power BI analytics solution development.
• Experience with exposure in any ETL tool.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
• Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently collaborate with Onshore team on business expectations.
• Ability to understand the criticality working in production Environment.
• Working experience in handling data warehouse systems using large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
