Job Description

As a Database Administrator (DBA-SQL Server) with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for the administration of SQL Server databases, including tasks such as database design, installation, configuration, and maintenance. Your role will involve writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to ensure optimal database performance. You should have a strong background in database performance tuning and optimization techniques, as well as experience with backups, restores, and recovery models. Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions like database mirroring, log shipping, and clustering is essential. Knowledge of database security best practices and the ability to implement and enforce security measures will be required in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to monitor database performance, implement changes as needed, and apply new patches and versions when required. Experience with SSIS and SSRS will be beneficial for this position. This is a permanent position based in Chandigarh.
