SQL Developer

You will be joining a dynamic and high-impact firm as an SQL Developer, where innovation meets opportunity. As an Information Governance Onboarding Engineer, your main responsibility will be to engage application teams to onboard their applications to Information Governance tools. This includes explaining the IG program and requirements to the application teams, answering any questions they may have, and following up or escalating if teams are non-responsive. You will also be responsible for submitting firewall requests, configuring data connections in the IG tools, and triggering scans. To excel in this role, you should have strong SQL development skills, experience in data classification/data governance tools, and the ability to write simple to medium complex queries. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of multiple database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, PostGres, Mongo, etc., and possess good systems knowledge of databases, firewalls, and connecting to various databases. In terms of soft skills, you must be able to work independently, deliver tasks as per plan, be task-oriented and flexible, and be a quick learner. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to drive work and lead conversations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for this role.
