Role & responsibilities

Job Description

Senior SDET Mobile Test Automation

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
mobile automation frameworks
using Appium and Java
Perform automation testing for
native Android and iOS applications
Develop and execute test scenarios across
SIT, UAT, Regression, and Automation phases
Perform
API testing and debugging
using Postman or similar tools
Analyze logs and debug failures to identify root causes
Work closely with developers to understand technical requirements and ensure test coverage
Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using standard QA tools
Act as an
informal technical lead
, supporting and guiding team members
Work in a
fast-paced Agile environment

Mandatory Skills

6+ years
of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing
2+ years
of mobile automation using
Appium (preferred)
or Selenium
1+ year
experience in native mobile testing tools:

Espresso (Android)
XCUI (iOS)

3+ years
of automation scripting using
Java
Experience with
device emulators/simulators
such as Perfecto, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs
Test Management Tools:
QTest / Quality Center / HP ALM
Defect Tracking Tools:
JIRA or Rally
API Testing & Debugging:
Postman, SoapUI, REST API tools
Experience working as an
informal lead
with technical teams

Good to Have

Experience with
log analysis and monitoring tools
(Splunk / Dynatrace)
Exposure to
Cloud platforms
(Azure preferred)
Experience in large, matrixed organizations
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
