About Position: As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Spring Cloud Gateway , you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable API gateway solutions that act as the entry point for microservices communication in a cloud-native environment. You will be responsible for developing secure, high-performance API routes, enforcing security policies, and enabling seamless integration with backend services. Role: Spring cloud Gateway Location: All PSL Location Experience: 4-12 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Develop and maintain API gateway routes and filters using Spring Cloud Gateway. Implement API security features such as OAuth2, JWT validation, rate limiting, and request throttling. Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs with microservices architectures. Collaborate with API management platforms like Apigee for enhanced API lifecycle management. Monitor API performance and troubleshoot gateway-related issues to ensure high availability. Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation related to API deployments. Provide guidance on best practices for API design, security, and scalability. Expertise You'll Bring: Strong proficiency in Spring Cloud Gateway and Spring Boot frameworks. Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices communication patterns, and cloud-native architectures. Experience with API security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, and API throttling. Familiarity with API management tools like Apigee, and understanding of API lifecycle management. Knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD processes. Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and optimize API gateway performance. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in Agile teams.
