Spray Painter/sand blaster

Key Responsibilities

Sand Blasting:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces (metal structures, pipelines, tanks, etc.).
• Remove rust, scale, old paint, and contaminants to achieve required surface profile.
• Select appropriate abrasives, nozzles, and blasting techniques.
• Inspect blasted surfaces for quality before painting.

Painting / Coating:

• Mix and apply primers, paints, and protective coatings by spray gun, brush, or roller.
• Ensure uniform thickness and smooth finish as per specifications.
• Follow proper drying/curing times and apply multiple coats if required.
• Handle specialized coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, fireproof, etc.) as per project needs.

Quality & Safety:

• Ensure surface preparation and painting meet project/client standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO).
• Conduct visual checks and use instruments (DFT gauge, adhesion test, etc.) if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Follow company safety rules, wear PPE (respirator, goggles, gloves, suit), and comply with HSE regulations.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• High School / ITI / Technical certification preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in industrial sandblasting and painting.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Hands-on knowledge of sandblasting and spray painting equipment.
• Understanding of coating systems, mixing ratios, and curing times.
• Ability to interpret job instructions and safety procedures.

Pay: ₹11,802.16 - ₹25,000.00 per month
