Sports Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services to elite and developmental athletes.
• Lead and assist in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-sport planning in alignment with performance goals.
• Collaborate closely with coaches, strength and conditioning (S&C) specialists, and medical teams to ensure integrated, athlete-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation, including assessment notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Ideal Candidate

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy (MPT Sports or Musculoskeletal preferred).
• 23 years of relevant clinical experience, ideally within sports or high-performance environments.
• Strong understanding of sports biomechanics, training loads, and sport-specific physical demands.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques including dry needling, cupping therapy, kinesio taping, and other hands-on interventions.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and athlete-first environment.

Desirable Skills (Preferred)

• Experience supporting teams or athletes during training camps or competitions, particularly in combat sports, track and field, or swimming.
• Familiarity with movement screening, performance testing, and functional assessment tools.
• Additional certifications in sports rehabilitation, performance therapy, or related specializations.
