Speech/Language Pathologist

As a Speech Pathologist, your role will involve evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech or language disorders. You will formulate individualized treatment programs, maintain appropriate records, and provide progress updates to faculty and parents about the students" development. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the needs of students with speech or language disorders and align them with available programs within the educational system. - Meet students regularly based on their schedules, evaluate their progress, and keep detailed records. - Report progress to faculty members and engage in regular discussions regarding students" skills and interactions in class. - Update parents on their child's progress, provide recommendations for activities to support the therapy program, and address any concerns they may have. - Conduct regular evaluations to track progress following professional guidelines. - Communicate with students to understand their feelings about the program, progress, or any challenges they may be facing. - Stay updated with professional literature and attend seminars to enhance and maintain professional skills. - Available to work with students for 24-28 hours per week. Qualifications Required: - Hearing ability sufficient to evaluate a student's speech. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, faculty members, and parents. Education and Experience: - Preferably hold a Master's degree in speech pathology. - State license as a speech pathologist is mandatory. - Minimum of two years of experience in the speech pathology field is preferred.
