Job Description

Perform comprehensive assessments for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in clients, utilizing standardized tests and specialized evaluation tools.

Employ diverse techniques and exercises to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, expression, and pragmatics in patients.

Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods for clients with severe communication impairments.

Manage a range of disorders including voice disorders, dysarthria, aphasia, apraxia, language disorders, and dysphagia in adult patients with neurological deficits.

Educate patients and families on speech disorders and available therapies while maintaining detailed progress notes and updating daily documentation.

Stay updated on advancements in the field through conferences, research, and professional networks to provide the best care, evaluating patient progress and modifying therapy programs as needed.
