Speech Therapist

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities and will possess hands-on experience in speech therapy and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of various age groups.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Conduct therapy sessions for patients with speech delays, articulation problems, voice disorders, and fluency difficulties.
• Provide therapy and support for individuals with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for a holistic treatment approach.
• Educate patients and their families on home programs and ongoing care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) — mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant setting — mandatory
• Preferred: Hands-on experience in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OPT) and Swallow Therapy
