Job Description

Location: Jewel Child Development Centre
Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with communication, speech, language, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The role also involves working closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic development and progress of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (ITPs/IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for children with communication challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, special educators, and other professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Guide and train parents and caregivers with home-based strategies to support therapy goals.
  • Conduct parent counseling and workshops when required.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and reviews.
  • Stay updated with latest research, therapy tools, and techniques in speech and language pathology.
  • Ensure ethical practices, confidentiality, and safety in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP).
  • Valid RCI Registration (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge in speech, language, fluency, articulation, and swallowing therapy.
  • Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and communication disorders preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
