Are you ready to dive into the world of data and analyticsWe are looking for a meticulous and analytical BI Reporting Developer to join our team at Alexion In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions that drive the administration and analysis of incentive compensation programs If you have a robust background in data analysis, proficiency in reporting tools and databases, and experience with incentive compensation systems, we want to hear from you! Accountabilities Support the Alexion team with incentive compensation reporting by designing, developing, validating, and maintaining Qlik Sense and Power BI dashboards Understand business objectives, incentive compensation implementation, data sources, and benchmarks to design effective solutions Design and implement data models in Qlik Sense and Power BI, including ETL processes Write and optimize Qlik scripting language using SQL to transform raw data into actionable insights Integrate data from different sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik Sense Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Qlik applications Conduct thorough testing of Qlik applications to validate data accuracy and functionality Collaborate with QA testers and business users to resolve issues promptly Design intuitive user interfaces for data exploration and analysis Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Qlik development efforts with organizational goals Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders Instill a culture of continuous improvement in testing and deployment of new capabilities Essential Skills/Experience Advanced understanding/experience with Power BI or Qlik Sense, SQL, Snowflake, and Veeva CRM Ability to create new rules and adjust complex existing rules Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights Perform advanced data modeling, implement RLS (Row-Level Security), and develop robust DAX calculations Integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive Power BI datasets Proficient in SQL & Data warehousing concepts Knowledge on other Power platform tools Design and implement user-friendly applications using Power Apps Ensure seamless data connectivity with SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources Enable low-code/no-code solutions for business workflows Automate recurring tasks and workflows with Power Automate Expertise in Qlik scripting language + data modeling concepts Desirable Skills/Experience Background in computer science, information systems, finance, or related field 10 years of experience in developing reporting and visualization applications (with IC experience) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office But that doesn't mean we're not flexible We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility Join us in our unique and ambitious world At AstraZeneca, our work is transformative!
