Specialist - Product Expert

As a Specialist Product Expert at Accelya, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the air cargo industry and software solutions. Your expertise will be leveraged to enhance the product's capabilities, increase its value proposition, and improve competitive advantage for customers. By engaging with key stakeholders in the airline and cargo industry, you will identify changing business priorities and trends that will drive the development of the product. Collaboration with internal product, data, and engineering teams will be essential as you define and document business requirements that align with the organization's vision. You will lead the delivery of product features and oversee rollouts at various customers, serving as a subject matter expert on cargo commercial and operational solutions. Additionally, you will support industry and customer engagements in presales activities, end-to-end demos, and other necessary tasks to promote the product effectively. In this role, you will act as a central point of contact for internal teams, providing expertise on air cargo commercial and operational functions and leading the development of new or enhanced solutions in these areas. Your responsibilities will also include assisting internal teams in analyzing and resolving critical issues to contribute to the product's success. To excel in this position, you should possess broad expertise and hands-on experience in air cargo offer, order, and operations disciplines, either within an airline or an air cargo solutions provider. Strong skills in functional documentation and collaboration with UX teams for product design are essential. Exposure to API-based design and documentation is preferred, along with a solid understanding of IT technology concepts, software architectures, and product management principles. Ideally, you should have at least 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the air cargo industry and a bachelor's degree in aviation, IT, or a relevant discipline. Experience working in a SAFe agile environment will be beneficial as you contribute to driving innovation and growth in the air transport industry.
