Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cognos Environment Administration Install configure and maintain Cognos BI servers including upgrades and patches
Security and Access Control Manage user authentication authorization and access control ensuring data security and compliance
Report Management Oversee report development deployment and maintenance ensuring reports are accurate efficient and meet business requirements
Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize Cognos system performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues
Technical Support Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for Cognosrelated issues resolving problems and escalating complex issues to vendors or internal experts
Training and Documentation Develop and deliver training sessions for endusers and maintain documentation on Cognos best practices procedures and troubleshooting
Compliance and Governance Ensure Cognos environment compliance with organizational policies industry regulations and standards
Collaboration Work closely with IT teams business stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Cognos with organizational goals
Requirements
Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in Cognos administration with expertise in Cognos BI 11x 12x

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Cognos architecture configuration and security
Experience with report development deployment and maintenance Familiarity with data modelling data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
Proficiency in SQL XML and other relevant technologies
