Job Description

3 years of relevant work experience programing in cobol400RPGRPGLE in the iSeries environment on the AS400 platform
2 years programming in IBM i Control Language CL
2 years programming in SQL
Working knowledge of Linux or other Unix systems
Ability to start a project from scratch and see it through completion
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Ability to lead or mentor other developers
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Programming on AS4 00 technologies viz RPG 400RPGLECLLESQL
Programming on AS4 00 technologies viz RPG 400RPGLECLLESQL
Define Test Plan and perform unit and string testing
Provide support for User Acceptance TestingPost Implementation
Resolve issues reported by users based on criticality of the impact on internal and external customers
Extensive knowledge on AS 400 platform includes RPG 400RPGILECLLESQL 400SQLRPGLE and DB2 400 is necessary
Hands on Experience on change management tools TURNOVERTAATOOLHAWKEYE
Experience on Web Service development on AS 400 platform is preferred
Working experience on Integrated File SystemNet Working concepts on AS 400 platform
Demonstrated experience in application developmentcomplex code developmentapplication t esting and component design
Experience on Travel Domain is an added advantage
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good understanding of technologyarchitectural concepts
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to a nontechnical audience
Ability to create technical documentation
Strong team player and selfstarted attitude CompetenciesTechnical Skills Known
