The Specialist Lighting Electronics position at koda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) in Pune, Chakan, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Research and Development department. With a qualification requirement of B.E/B. Tech/Post Graduate in Electrical & Electronics and 5 to 10 years of experience, you can embark on a fulfilling journey with a leading European car maker in India. As a Specialist Lighting Electronics, your primary responsibility will be to lead CAN/LIN and Hardwired based Head Lamp / Tail lamp / Interior Lighting Electronics development activities. This includes coordinating and collaborating with Skoda & VW HQ EEL Electronics Team, EE Team, Plant, Suppliers, and concerned Cross Functional Teams. You will represent Engineering in various forums, Pilot Hall, PG, etc., and ensure project coordination and tracking against milestones in the area of EEL- Electronics. Your authority will involve proof of concept and engineering data evaluation & validation, design/data approval/release at each project milestone, lamps electronics testing & validation, change request management for the designs, proposing technology-driven initiatives, and team coordination. Strong communication skills in English, analytical skills, project management expertise, and product development knowledge are essential for this role. Key responsibilities include methodically leading entrusted sub-groups, analyzing and executing development tasks efficiently, creating technical documentation for request for quotation, reviewing and approving necessary documentation, supporting the ramp-up of new products, facilitating EE Department Vehicle level Electronics parts validation, and ensuring component milestones are completed within the stipulated time period.
