Specialist I - DevOps Engineering (Azure DevOps)

The company is looking for an experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to join their team in Pune. Your role will involve driving automation, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and automation tools such as Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD. Leadership, collaboration, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices are essential for this role. **Must-Have Skills:** - Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its PaaS services. - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Terraform. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications. - Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Argo CD, and Terragrunt. - Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack. - Solid understanding of cloud security practices. - Expertise in version control systems like GitHub. **Good to Have Skills:** - Experience in building Azure Disaster Recovery solutions. - Understanding of SQL/No-SQL databases and Message Brokers. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience in setting up infrastructure for applications developed in .Net and React. - Knowledge of additional tools for infrastructure monitoring. **Experience Range:** - 8 to 12 years of demonstrable experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. - Proven track record of leading and mentoring DevOps teams. **Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other tools. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments. - Lead the deployment of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Collaborate with development teams to enhance workflows and collaboration. - Maintain and enhance performance, security, and reliability of production environments. - Oversee Azure-based infrastructure creation and management. - Document infrastructure setups and automation processes. - Participate in incident management and drive process improvements. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant field. - Key knowledge in designing cloud solutions and cloud-based security practices. - Proficiency in Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and caching solutions. **Skills and Abilities:** - Strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong organizational and analytical skills.
