Job Summary:
We are seeking a Special Educator to join our team at Mattanchery The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching computer literacy to students with special educational needs. This role requires a blend of expertise in IT education and special education techniques to ensure that students gain essential computer skills that are vital in today’s digital world. The role involves providing hands-on training, ensuring individualized support for students, and creating a conducive learning environment that enhances the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Computer Literacy Teaching: Teach and develop curriculum related to basic computer literacy, including operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet usage.

• Specialized Instruction: Adapt IT lessons to meet the learning needs of students with special educational requirements, ensuring that each student can learn and succeed at their own pace.

• Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support, helping them with computer-related tasks and ensuring they understand key concepts.

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a structured curriculum for IT training that is both engaging and effective, taking into consideration the unique needs of students.

• Training & Hands-On Practice: Conduct practical sessions where students can apply their computer skills in real-world scenarios, ensuring that they gain practical knowledge and confidence.

• Collaboration with Team: Work closely with other instructors, special education staff, and counselors to ensure a holistic approach to student development and learning.

• Progress Monitoring & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their improvement in computer literacy.

• Inclusive Education: Foster an inclusive learning environment that is conducive to the academic and personal growth of students with special needs.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
