Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified * Full-Time Special Educator* to join our team. The educator will be responsible for conducting assessments, identifying children with learning difficulties, and collaborating with stakeholders to create intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct academic, behavioural, and developmental assessments for students referred for special education support.
• Maintain accurate, clear, and confidential documentation of assessment results.
• Provide initial recommendations for appropriate interventions and support services.
• Collaborate with the Samrasa Foundation team to prepare reports and ensure effective follow-up.
• Facilitate awareness and sensitisation sessions as required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of special education practices and child development.
• Knowledge of Occupational Therapy techniques and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) approaches.
• Comfortable working in a clinical setting with children and families.
• Prior experience working with autistic children, ADHD, and other developmental or learning differences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Good communication, documentation, and organisational skills.

Requirements:

• ⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• ⁠ ⁠Minimum 2 year of experience in special education or inclusive education settings.
• ⁠ ⁠Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• ⁠ ⁠Ability to travel to different schools independently.
• ⁠ ⁠Passion for working with children and promoting inclusive education.

Work Schedule:

⁠ ⁠Monday - Friday (10AM - 6 PM)

Flexible Saturday (2 Saturdays Working)

⁠Remuneration:

⁠ ⁠Competitive part-time stipend, commensurate with experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
