Special Educator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educator specializing in AVT Therapy to join our team in Guntur. In this role, you will be responsible for managing therapy programs for cochlear implant recipients while ensuring high-quality documentation, evaluation, and modification of patient care plans. Key Responsibilities:

AVT Therapy Implementation:

• Conduct therapy sessions using Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) techniques tailored for cochlear implant users.
• Develop and modify individual therapy programs based on patient history, progress, and evolving needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated educational strategies.

Patient Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate recording of patient history, therapy sessions, and progress assessments.
• Monitor therapy outcomes and provide systematic updates to facilitate continuous care improvements.

Program Evaluation and Adaptation:

• Evaluate patient progress regularly through various assessments and observational methods.
• Implement changes to therapy strategies as required, based on ongoing evaluations and in consultation with caregivers and medical professionals.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Serve as a point of contact for families by providing regular updates and guidance on therapy practices.
• Work closely with other special educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on the latest AVT techniques and best practices by participating in relevant training programs and workshops.
• Embrace continuous learning and be open to adopting innovative methods to improve therapy outcomes.

Qualifications Required

• B.Ed (Special Education) OR
• M.Ed (Special Education)

Compensation Package

• Starting Salary: ₹25,000
