You are a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher joining the team at a DPS Kollam. Your role involves working with students who have a range of learning disabilities and special needs. You will create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure the success of all students. Key Responsibilities: - Assess students' abilities and develop personalized learning goals - Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of each student - Provide support and accommodations for students during classroom instruction - Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed - Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and other staff members - Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals to support student success Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field - Valid teaching license - Experience working with students with special needs preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students Please note that this is a full-time position with a requirement of 4 years of total work experience preferred.
