Special Education Teacher

Role Overview: The Special Educator role based in Gurugram and Mohali involves providing personalized support to students with disabilities to help them achieve their academic, social, and emotional potential. As a Special Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans, delivering one-on-one or group instruction, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of students. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. - Modify lessons, activities, and assessments to meet diverse student needs. - Provide direct instruction in various settings and adapt teaching strategies to support different learning requirements. - Implement behavioral interventions and work on social and emotional skill development. - Foster positive interactions among students. - Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to create an inclusive learning environment. - Regularly assess student progress, adjust teaching methods accordingly, and maintain accurate records of student development. - Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress and provide resources for supporting learning at home. - Maintain an organized classroom environment, stay updated with best practices in special education, and participate in professional development activities.
