As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented and experienced South Indian Chef to join our team. Job Description: - Plan, prepare, and cook a wide variety of traditional South Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity, flavor, and presentation are consistently exceptional. - Develop innovative and creative recipes while maintaining the integrity of traditional South Indian cuisine. - Oversee kitchen operations, including ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and kitchen hygiene standards. - Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and cooking techniques. - Collaborate with management to design menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and market trends. - Monitor food costs and work towards achieving budgetary goals without compromising on quality. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times. - Stay updated on emerging food trends, culinary techniques, and industry best practices. Requirements: - Proven experience as a South Indian Chef, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. - In-depth knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including regional variations, spices, and cooking techniques. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a kitchen team. - Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation. - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. - Certification from a culinary institute or relevant training courses is preferred.
