As a Sourcing Merchandiser at Estilocus, you will play a crucial role in our fast-growing menswear brand dedicated to providing quality, durable, and affordable fashion for millennials. Your primary responsibility will be to seamlessly translate product concepts into production execution, ensuring a delicate balance of cost-effectiveness, quality standards, adherence to timelines, and fostering strong vendor relationships. Your key duties will include collaborating closely with vendors, suppliers, and production teams to source fabrics, trims, and materials based on seasonal requirements. You will be responsible for negotiating favorable pricing, managing timelines effectively, and determining optimal order quantities. Additionally, you will oversee quality control measures and ensure timely delivery of goods, maintaining meticulous production calendars and monitoring sample approvals throughout the process. To excel in this role, you should possess prior experience in apparel/fashion sourcing and merchandising, along with a demonstrated ability in vendor management and negotiation. A solid understanding of fabrics, garment construction techniques, and production timelines is essential. The ability to multitask, exhibit strong follow-up skills, and maintain impeccable organization under stringent deadlines will be critical to your success. Ideally, you will have 1-3 years of experience in sourcing merchandising within the apparel industry. It is imperative that you are located within a commutable distance to Bengaluru, Karnataka, as the role requires in-person presence. A willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is preferred, given the nature of the position.
