As a SOP Writer specializing in the Australia study abroad segment at KC Overseas Education, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and other admission-related documents tailored to Australian universities. Your responsibilities will include: - Drafting customized SOPs in accordance with guidelines from Australian universities and the Australian High Commission to fulfill Genuine Student (GS) requirements. - Editing and proofreading SOPs/documents to ensure originality, clarity, academic tone, and compliance with plagiarism and AI content standards. - Conducting research on programs, university requirements, career prospects, and other relevant material to craft impactful and compliant SOPs. - Ensuring timely delivery of documents and collaborating with counsellors and application teams for consistency. - Upholding confidentiality and authenticity of student information throughout the process. To excel in this role, you are required to possess the following qualifications: - A Bachelors/Masters degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. - Excellent written English skills focusing on grammar, structure, and vocabulary. - Minimum of 1 year of content writing experience, preferably in the study abroad/education sector. - Proficiency in internet research to extract meaningful information from university websites. - Desirable but not mandatory to have prior experience in writing SOPs specifically for Australia. - Advantageous but not mandatory to have knowledge of Australia's admission and visa processes, especially Genuine Student (GS) requirements. - Research-oriented with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
