Solutions Engineer (Infrastructure Cabling)

As a Sales Engineer (SE), your main responsibility will be to define customer requirements and design solutions from our portfolio of services. You will collaborate with account managers to build strong relationships with clients and ensure that service level agreements are not only met but exceeded. In addition, you will interact with various internal departments, team members, management, business partners, and third-party organizations to maintain workflows and complete customer quote requests. It is essential to continuously develop and enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities through various learning channels to expand both technical and non-technical capabilities. Your role also involves meeting all financial performance objectives for your area of responsibility and taking corrective action when necessary. You will be expected to implement and suggest improvements to methodologies, core competencies, and processes to ensure the stable and quality delivery of products in line with company objectives and client expectations. Furthermore, actively recommending and supporting efforts to enhance day-to-day operations and the client experience will be a key part of your responsibilities. As a Sales Engineer, you should be adept at handling constant change and leading change within the company, vendors, and customers. You will play a central role in interacting with customers and internal organizations, requiring excellent written and oral communication skills to correspond effectively with clients at all levels. Additionally, you will have design ownership of strategic opportunities and be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure timely completion of technical deliverables. In terms of technical skills, you must be a technology generalist with a strong understanding of network infrastructure (copper/fiber cabling) and edge device cabling and integration. It is crucial to have a wide-ranging knowledge of cabling materials and installation methods, along with familiarity with relevant standards and regulations. Your reliability, dependability, and ability to continuously expand your knowledge of technology and industry trends will be key to success in this role. A High School diploma is required for this position, with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred. You should have 5-7+ years of relevant experience, including product-specific design experience and familiarity with manufacturer design and reporting tools. Excellent oral and written English skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and a track record of developing innovative solutions based on client requirements are essential competencies for this role.,
