Solutions Designer

In your role at Sun Life Global Solutions, you will be responsible for driving the execution of technical and architectural decisions made by the team. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze ideas and demands for architectural fit, translating detailed business requirements into implementable solutions. Additionally, you will partner with both business and IT teams on solution architecture design, ensuring alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and solution implementation to maintain technical integrity, consistency, and quality throughout the solution's lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the execution of technical and architectural decisions - Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze ideas and demands for architectural fit - Translate detailed business requirements into implementable solutions - Partner with business and IT teams on solution architecture design - Ensure alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and solution implementation - Maintain technical integrity, consistency, and quality throughout the solution's lifecycle Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of hands-on Design & Development experience - Proficiency in generally accepted software design principles, concepts, and terminologies - Experience in Architecture design (C4 Modeling), Building Block Design, Solutions Modeling, Microservices Architecture, Software Engineering, Security, and User Interface (web/mobile) - Ability to identify and apply relevant Architecture & Design Patterns for performance - Experience in integrating with Legacy systems - Knowledge of Development best practices like TDD, BDD - Familiarity with design, presentation, and prototyping tools - Experience in designing Cloud native applications & services deployed over AWS - Understanding of Industry standards and architectural patterns in Distributed Computing, Cloud, UI, and Database - Experience in coaching an agile technical team - Proficiency in DevOps practices including Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), Configuration management tools (Git, Bitbucket), Unit testing (JUnit), Build configuration (Maven, Gradle), and Code Quality (SonarQube) At Sun Life Global Solutions, you will be part of a team that is focused on shaping the future of digital innovation, business transformation, and superior client experience.
