Solutions Architect

You will be responsible for leading the development of a modern, modular, and flexible restaurant technology platform. Additionally, you will lead the development and co-manage the roadmap for our HutBot platform, the in-restaurant management app. Your role will involve assessing, building, and supporting restaurant ordering platforms, integrating POS with third-party apps and aggregators. You will oversee the integration of various systems such as Kiosks, Mobile Tablets, smart kitchen, delivery management systems, and BOH applications including inventory, labor, learning management, and other employee-facing apps. Furthermore, you will be required to develop and maintain Enterprise architecture by building integrations between different platforms and apps. As a qualified candidate, you should have a minimum of 10 years of development experience managing large projects and teams with progressive career growth. You should have development experience in Typescript/NodeJS with the React framework preferred, although candidates with proven experience in related technologies like Python or C# will also be considered. Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform are desired. A strong understanding of modern database systems including RDS (Postgres), NoSQL (DynamoDB, DocumentDB), and analytics tools such as Snowflake, Domo (GDH), and Google Analytics is essential. Experience in building and supporting restaurant ordering platforms, integration of POS with third-party apps and aggregators, Kiosks, Mobile Tablets, smart kitchen, delivery management systems, BOH applications, and managing Enterprise architecture will be key responsibilities in this role. Experience in managing large teams across multiple time zones is also required. Preferred qualifications include development experience in Typescript/NodeJS with the React framework, familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, and proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
