Solutions Architect- Retail

We are seeking a Retail Domain Architect to define and oversee the technology architecture within the retail domain, encompassing in-store systems, omnichannel platforms, supply chain, CRM, and merchandising solutions. This pivotal role will play a significant part in shaping Landmark's retail technology strategy to ensure scalability, customer-centricity, and alignment with digital transformation goals. The Retail Domain Architect will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design solutions that drive efficiency, enable omnichannel experiences, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the retail domain architecture roadmap, including POS, e-commerce, CRM, ERP, merchandising, and supply chain systems. Translate retail business requirements (in-store, online, omnichannel) into scalable and future-ready technology solutions. Collaborate with Enterprise, Data, and Integration Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Evaluate and recommend retail platforms, tools, and technologies that enhance agility, scalability, and customer experiences. Govern technology choices to ensure compliance with security, integration, and performance standards. Stay updated on emerging retail tech trends (such as AI-driven retail, mobile POS, digital twins, RFID, IoT) and assess their impact. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure technology effectiveness in supporting retail operations and customer experiences. Key Competencies & Behaviors In-depth understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory, supply chain, in-store operations, and customer engagement. Expertise in retail technologies such as POS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, CRM, and order management systems. Strategic thinking abilities to align technology decisions with retail growth strategies. Strong collaboration skills to bridge technology and business teams effectively. Ability to simplify complex retail architecture challenges for diverse stakeholders. Proactive and adaptable mindset, staying abreast of retail and digital commerce innovations. Target Background Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-14 years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in retail technology architecture. Proven experience in implementing or architecting retail systems at an enterprise scale, including POS, ERP, e-commerce, CRM, and OMS. Solid knowledge of omnichannel retail architectures and integrations across physical and digital channels. Hands-on exposure to cloud-based retail platforms and APIs. Experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce organizations is preferred. Certifications in enterprise/solution architecture frameworks are a plus.,
