Solutions Architect (Insurance)

As a Solution Architect in a modern cloud-based insurance environment, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering forward-looking solutions that meet the needs of clients and support business initiatives. Your primary focus will be on leveraging AWS and/or GCP environments, incorporating open-source, PaaS, and SaaS components. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide advice on suitable solution architectures. - Architect and design scalable solutions for PAS insurance systems. - Lead data strategy and API architecture, ensuring seamless integrations. - Utilize TOGAF or Zachman frameworks to define enterprise architecture. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. - Provide guidance on best practices for Java/React-based system development. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment between client needs and solution design. - Work closely with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during solution deployment. - Explore creative alternatives to identify the most effective solutions. - Assist in selecting off-the-shelf components to meet client needs. - Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the implementation process. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions continuously. **Qualifications Required:** - At least 6 years of experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles within the insurance vertical. - Extensive experience in PAS insurance systems. - Strong expertise in data architecture and API design. - Proficiency in TOGAF or Zachman frameworks. - Solid technical background in Java/React and enterprise application development. - Experience with third-party system integrations and cloud-based technology solutions. - Ability to define enterprise roadmaps and translate client requirements into actionable solution architectures. - Understanding of business architecture models and patterns. - Proficiency in designing solutions for cloud-based applications with high availability and scalability. - Experience in designing solutions in Relational DB and noSQL environments, API & Micro-services centric environments. - Capability to self-learn new technology trends and approaches. - Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts. - Excellent communication skills in English. Please note that the Solution Architect role requires strong analytical, decision-making, and relationship management skills. Certification in architecture disciplines and cloud environments would be advantageous. You should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrating expertise in insurance business processes across multiple lines of business. Your ability to think creatively, work collaboratively, and adapt to evolving technologies will be key to success in this role.,
