Brief Summary

IM Services is the global service delivery unit responsible for the (End-to-End) IT services provided to the businesses and functions and the end users across the globe.

The Solution Architect (N&IA) is responsible for ensuring the provisioning of the Network and Internet Access services globally. As a Solution Architect specializing in networking, your role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing effective network solutions for our organization's projects and infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the networking architecture meets the organization's requirements, aligns with industry best practices, and supports seamless communication and data transfer.

Focus of this role is on security, more specific around network segmentation, micro segmentation and remote connectivity.

In your future role as “Solution Architect NIA” you will

Key Responsibilities

• Designing comprehensive network and security architecture solutions for clients, considering their specific requirements and industry best practices.
• Leading the implementation and deployment of networking and security solutions, ensuring adherence to design principles and best practices.
• Providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams, including engineers and support staff.
• Participating in the evaluation and selection of networking and security products, tools, and technologies, and providing input for their incorporation into solution designs.
• Contributing to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of solution architecture activities.

Key Generic Competencies

• Solid understanding of the core network services
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure (Networking/AAD)
• Experience with cloud-based remote access solutions
• Experience with Micro Segmentation tools, preferably Guardicore
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to remain neutral toward technology, vendor, and product choices, as well as to be more interested in results than in personal preferences
• Ability to balance the long-term (or “big-picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions
• Ability to see the whole picture (“helicopter view”) as well as being able to focus into the detail
• Excellent integrator and ensure cooperation between supplier(s) and internal resources

We believe you bring

• Master’s degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent based on practical experience
• Professional with minimum of 6 years of experience in the IT Infrastructure including 2-4 years managing IT services & professionals across diverse geographies and organizational cultures
• External vendor management experience in an international context
• Knowledge of the manufacturing/ process industry
• Knowledge of best practice solutions in the shared solutions space
• Experience in relevant infrastructure services.
• Demonstrable ability to act autonomously, analytical and structured.

We believe you are

• Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
