Solution Architect (Mobile Banking)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect specializing in mobile banking to lead the design and architecture of our mobile banking platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mobile application design, backend microservice architecture, and integration with banking systems. They will play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and design objectives for the mobile banking platform.

Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of the mobile banking solution, encompassing both frontend mobile application design and backend microservice design.

Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate design decisions, system components, and integration points to stakeholders.

Define standards, best practices, and guidelines for mobile application development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the mobile banking platform, considering factors such as scalability, security, and performance.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and design patterns.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the mobile banking platform architecture to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments related to mobile banking and fintech, and incorporate relevant advancements into the architectural roadmap.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master s degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in designing and implementing mobile banking solutions.

In-depth knowledge of mobile application development frameworks, including iOS, Android, and hybrid app development technologies.

Strong expertise in backend microservice architecture (Java), API design, and integration patterns, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

Proficiency in architecting cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

Knowledge of banking systems, payment processing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
