Job Description

As a Power Apps Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and leading the end-to-end technical architecture, design, and implementation of complex Power Apps solutions using Canvas & Model-driven approaches, with Dataverse as the primary data source. Your key responsibilities include: - Establishing and enforcing best practices, architectural standards, and governance models specific to Power Apps environments, such as DLP, Security, Monitoring, and CoE, focusing on environment strategy and app lifecycle management. - Collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable Power Apps designs. - Designing and developing advanced components, including PCF controls, and integration points for Power Apps with external systems using custom connectors, REST APIs, and Azure Functions. - Defining and implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies for Power Apps, utilizing Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and managed/unmanaged solutions to ensure smooth and controlled deployments. - Acting as the technical lead, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring a team of Power Apps developers. Your qualifications should include: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, developing, and deploying solutions focused on Microsoft Power Apps and Dataverse. - Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale solution architecture for low-code applications, emphasizing security models, data governance strategies, and UI/UX best practices within Power Apps. - Deep knowledge of Power Platform Governance, specifically implementing DLP policies, security configurations, and environment strategies tailored for large-scale Power Apps deployments. - Expertise in PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) development, basic JavaScript, REST APIs, and JSON Parsing for client-side scripting and control manipulation within Power Apps. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for implementing ALM and setting up CI/CD Pipelines specifically for Power Apps and Dataverse solutions. In addition, as a Power Apps Solution Architect, your role may involve exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include holding Microsoft Power Platform Certifications related to Power Apps or Architecture and experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
