Solution Architect - Digital Manufacturing

As a Solution Architect - Digital Manufacturing at Trelleborg, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of manufacturing by developing advanced digital tools, connecting IoT data, and enabling data science solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Orchestrating and strategically developing solutions for the data management of manufacturing-related data. - Setting up and maintaining data pipelines and data management systems hands-on. - Leading the technical implementation projects in Trelleborg's global production sites. - Managing a portfolio of tools for data management and digital manufacturing strategically. - Identifying and analyzing new IoT solutions and technologies for advanced analytics. - Conducting functional and technical analyses of requirements and assessing their business impact. - Consulting and supporting a cluster of plants in their digital transformation. - Serving as an interface to other IT departments and leveraging synergies between plant initiatives. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Degree in Engineering or Information Technology or similar education. - Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in operations, IT, or consulting. - Profound knowledge of manufacturing operational technology and information technology. - Experience in big data management for operational data and developing solutions using Python and PySpark. - Proficiency in big data management using cloud solutions, preferably Azure and Databricks. - Experience in real-time data streaming, particularly Azure Stream Analytics. - Ability to create advanced analytics reports and apply data science techniques using PowerBI or Python. - Demonstrated concern for achieving results and customer satisfaction. Desirable Skills: - Persistent with drive and enthusiasm to overcome obstacles. - Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. - Takes responsibility for team activities beyond own functional area.
