As a Solution Architect - Digital Manufacturing at Trelleborg, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge digital tools aimed at digitizing processes, integrating IoT data, and facilitating data science solutions to advance the journey towards the factory of the future. Your role encompasses: - Orchestrating and strategically developing solutions for manufacturing data management - Setting up and maintaining data pipelines and management systems - Leading the technical aspects of implementation projects across Trelleborg's global production sites - Managing a portfolio of tools for data management and digital manufacturing - Evaluating new solutions and technologies for IoT and advanced analytics - Conducting functional and technical analyses of requirements and assessing their business impact - Providing consultation and support to plant clusters in their digital transformation - Acting as a liaison to other IT departments and identifying synergies among plant initiatives Qualifications and Experience: - Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in operations, IT, or consulting - Profound knowledge of manufacturing operational technology and information technology - Expertise in advanced big data management for operational data - Experience in developing data handling solutions using Python and PySpark - Strong background in big data management using cloud solutions (preferably Azure, Databricks) - Familiarity with real-time data streaming (preferably Azure Stream Analytics) - Proficiency in creating advanced analytics reports and applying data science techniques - Demonstrated commitment to achieving results and ensuring customer satisfaction Desired Skills: - Demonstrates persistence and enthusiasm in overcoming obstacles - Takes ownership of team activities beyond functional boundaries - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently - Proficient in independent project work Benefits: - Exposure to multicultural environments - Flexible work hours and remote work options - Opportunity to leverage and enhance skills within an innovative company culture Behavioral Characteristics: - Self-motivated and collaborative with excellent communication skills - Ability to work effectively in diverse, global teams - Quick thinking and adept at prioritizing technical challenges for innovative solutions If you resonate with our ethos of #shapingindustryfromtheinside#, apply now to be a part of our dynamic team.
