  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production, and procurement.
  • Manage version control and data using SolidWorks PDM or other PLM systems.
  • Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
  • Optimize designs for material efficiency, weight reduction, and structural integrity.
  • Perform simulation and stress testing for real-world conditions where applicable.
  • Review and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2–5+ years) as a SolidWorks designer, engineer, or CAD specialist.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing advanced SolidWorks capabilities.
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Deep understanding of materials, tolerances, and production processes.
  • Experience with SolidWorks Simulation, PDM, and related plug-ins.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Certification in SolidWorks (e.g., CSWP or CSWE) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with 3D printing or CNC fabrication workflows.
  • Knowledge of additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP integration and product lifecycle management.
  • Basic knowledge of programming for automation (e.g., VBA, macros in SolidWorks).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
  • Critical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset.
