Solar technician

As a skilled Technician at Spectrum Solar Company, your role will involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems and related electronic components. You should have hands-on experience in solar PV installation, electrical systems, and troubleshooting electronic devices used in solar energy applications. Key Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, and maintain solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring in residential and commercial settings. - Ensure proper mounting, wiring, and connections for optimal system performance. - Configure and program solar inverters, charge controllers, and monitoring systems. Troubleshooting & Repairs: - Diagnose and repair issues with solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, and battery systems. - Perform voltage, current, and resistance tests using multimeters and other tools. - Identify and fix electrical and electronic malfunctions in solar energy systems. Safety & Compliance: - Ensure proper grounding, surge protection, and wiring safety. - Conduct site assessments to determine the best system configurations. Technical Support & Reporting: - Provide technical guidance to customers and team members. - Maintain detailed reports and documentation on installations and repairs. - Stay updated on the latest solar and electronics technologies. Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in solar PV installation and electronics troubleshooting. - Knowledge of solar energy components, wiring, and system configurations. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
