Solar Site Engineer

As a Solar Site Engineer, you will be responsible for managing solar energy system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes. Your duties will include installing, repairing, and maintaining PV solar equipment at various sites including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. It will be essential to review site survey information to ensure accurate and complete data for system designs. Collaboration with structural engineers, sales teams, and field and admin staff will be a key part of your role in managing projects effectively. You will oversee the structure, testing, and commissioning of ground-mounted solar power plants while also verifying the quality of electrical equipment such as PV modules, inverters, and balance of system components. Monitoring existing solar system generation and troubleshooting as needed will be crucial in ensuring optimal system performance. Regular visits to job sites will be necessary to oversee project development, installation progress, and quality control measures. Your main goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed within specified timelines. Candidates with an I.T.I background are also encouraged to apply for this position. A minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in solar site engineering is preferred.
