Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer, your role involves preparing AutoCAD project layouts, Single lines (SLDs), and preliminary design packages. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing US based engineering firms for permit sets and detailed project design. Additionally, you will perform project optimization analysis by modifying various design parameters and major equipment to identify the optimum project layout and input. Key Responsibilities: - Review and understand the interconnection process in detail for each RTOs/Utility (US based transmission service providers) - Complete Interconnection Applications (IX application) and manage feasibility studies and load flow studies with US based interconnection analysis experts - Support in RFP responses/bids for the Client by working closely with the GM and the Director - Manage overall RFP response, including all technical responses, and collaborate with the Client's team during RFP response/bid preparation Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 4 years of PV Solar design experience in utility scale PV Solar projects - Experience with PV solar + energy storage projects is a big plus - Experience in the US solar market is highly desirable - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is a must - Education from a US based engineering/management school is an advantage - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Exceptional work ethics - Strong organizational and communication skills (fluent in English) Additional Company Details: The company values strong analytical and mathematical skills, exceptional work ethics, and strong organizational and communication abilities.
