Soilless Farming (Ornamental Plants)

As a Production Manager at our company, your role will involve overseeing the cultivation of ornamental plants in soilless media. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in soilless farming, specifically in managing greenhouse operations, plant nutrition, pest and disease management, and optimizing plant growth in hydroponic or soilless systems. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage the soilless cultivation of foliage potted plants, Anthurium, Phalaenopsis orchids, and Spathiphyllum. - Ensure high-quality plant growth through proper nutrient management and environmental controls. - Oversee operations in both open-ventilated greenhouses and fan-and-pad closed tunnel-type greenhouses. - Monitor plant health, pest & disease management, and implement preventive measures. - Train and manage farm workers to follow best agricultural practices. - Maintain production schedules and achieve yield targets. - Ensure compliance with industry best practices and sustainability measures. Qualifications Required: - B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in soilless farming (hydroponics, cocopeat, perlite, etc.). - Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, irrigation systems, and greenhouse management. - Ability to handle production planning, labor management, and quality control. - Experience in ornamental plant cultivation preferred. - Good communication and leadership skills.,
