Software Validation Specialist

Role Overview: As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing automated tests using a test sequencer (Exam MicroNova) and analyzing software tests for quality assurance in the automation technology sector of wind farms. Your main tasks will include defining, preparing, and pre-evaluating test results, configuring and updating test systems, detecting new validation use cases/scenarios, and optimizing validation environments to accelerate the validation process. Key Responsibilities: - Execute automated tests with the help of a test sequencer (Exam MicroNova). - Perform and analyze software tests for quality assurance around automation technology in wind farms. - Define, prepare, and pre-evaluate test results. - Define, configure, prepare, and update test systems for test execution. - Detect new validation use cases/scenarios. - Optimize the validation environments and accelerate the validation process. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Electronics or Software or Computing Engineering (Information Technology / Automation Technology). - Good knowledge of general electrical engineering. - Basic knowledge of the applicable network connection guidelines. - Knowledge of Ethernet technology, bus systems, and real-time simulation systems. - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (DNP3, IEC-101, IEC104, OPC-UA, Profinet). - Knowledge of Exam software tool will be preferred. - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python. - Strong communication and team skills paired with intercultural competence. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.,
