Software Validation Specialist

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing automated tests using a test sequencer (Exam MicroNova) to ensure the quality and reliability of automation technology in wind farms. Your tasks will include performing and analyzing software tests, defining and preparing test results, configuring and updating test systems, identifying new validation scenarios, and optimizing validation environments to expedite the validation process. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in Electronics, Software, or Computing Engineering (Information Technology / Automation Technology) and possess a solid understanding of general electrical engineering principles. Familiarity with network connection guidelines and Grid Code Compliance Requirements in the renewables energy sector will be advantageous. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Ethernet technology, bus systems, real-time simulation systems, and industrial communication protocols such as DNP3, IEC-101, IEC-104, OPC-UA, and Profinet. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using the Exam software tool and proficiency in at least one programming language like Java or Python. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, intercultural competence, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are essential for this position.,
